An impressive bust of Minerva signed to the rear Pietro Barzanti. Extremely decorative.

Minerva was the goddess of wisdom, war, art, schools, justice and commerce. She was the Etruscan counterpart to Greek Athena. She is one of the Capitoline triad who, along with Jupiter and Juno, rule over the Roman pantheon.
