A delightful late 19th Century mahogany pie crust, occasional or tea table, with tilt top. The pedestal base carved with a substantial and handsome fluted column resting on finely carved downswept legs with carved knees terminating on three carved feet.

A stylish 19th century Federal Mahogany games or card table with canted fold-over top, ebony inlayed banding and green baize playing surface. The table is held on a central squared pedestal support, with quadraphorm base terminating in out-swept sabre legs. Can also be used as a decorative console table when not in use.
Following the Revolutionary War, the American republic referenced the Roman Republic in its designs to celebrate its independence and declare itself a powerful new country. Imbued with neoclassical elements like those being promoted by architect Robert Adam in Great Britain, antique Federal-style furniture was the first distinctly American style in its melding of ancient influences, European aesthetics and national pride.

A 20th Century pair of George II Style Giltwood Eagle Console Tables. Each table features a rich, warm marble top held on the Greek Giltwood frieze below. Each eagle, with outstretched wings, mirrors the other as they stand on ebonised carved rocky outcrops mounted on carved and gilt plinth bases with a foliate frieze.

Each with gilt tooled green leather tops with turned brass finials on all corners stood on fluted tapering legs.

The circular top featuring a highly decorative natural coramandel wood veneer. The vibrant pattern of the wood is also finished all the way around on the apron.
The top rests on an attractive simulated coramandel tri-form base culminating in 3 giltwood lion paw feet.
