An Elegant Pair of Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Vases
An Elegant Pair of Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Vases
A stunning pair of early 20th Century Chinese blue and white porcelain vases. These elegant decorative vases feature a beautiful, continuous lotus flower motif that flows seamlessly over the elongated, flared body.
The underside of the vases feature an underglaze blue, six-character imperial-style Qianlong period seal mark written in traditional archaic seal script (Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi). While this is an apocryphal/honorific mark typical of late 19th-century to modern decorative workshop productions, the craftsmanship remains exceptional with clean glaze lines, a smooth white body, and beautifully finished foot rims.
These vases bring a perfect touch of classic Chinoiserie elegance to modern or traditional home decor, looking spectacular on a mantelpiece, entry console, or dining table sideboard.
