A mid 18th century mahogany folding campaign writing/dining table, inlaid with brass stringing. The top which opens to a full table top supported on a sophisticated gate-leg also opens to a fitted writing surface with leather top and sunken well.

The table top supported on four cabriole legs terminating in Pad feet. inside the well you can see the large screws which hold the legs in place but allowed simple removal of the top.
